DESCRIPTION
EI 9 Fire rated access hatches are designed to provide autonomous fire protection in the room where they are installed for a period of 9 minutes. Suitable for use in offices, shops, businesses, hotels, hospitals, etc., these hatches meet the « fire load on room side only" requirement. The EI 9 fire rated access hatches are made to measure and designed to be installed in false ceilings. They are invisible and blend in perfectly with the decor of the room. Available in several sizes, these fire rated access hatches are equipped with a frame made of aluminium profiles joined by "Tox" connections and fitted with a firewall. They are also equipped with a cover made from a type DF fire protection plasterboard and an all-round EPDM lip seal to prevent smoke infiltration. The cover is secured on both sides by automatic safety latches which ensure that the cover is intercepted each time the door is opened. The cover is easy to remove and replace. Tested for fire resistance from below (room side) to comply with standard NF EN 1634-1:+A1: 218, these fire rated hatches are CSTB certified, PV N° RS19-64|B (2 x 2 mm) and have an acoustic performance of 39 dB.
